CPD is the cornerstone to school improvement, only through reflective practice, collaboration, training and taking risks does any individual get to improve their day to day practice and thus the out comes for learners.
At Vale of York Academy CPD takes many forms; Training Days, Meeting time, Twilight sessions, weekly CPD programmes, Show ‘n’ Share in addition to individual packages of support and training accessed by many staff through partnership with the Ebor teaching Alliance and through the Pathfinder teaching school. The details below which are not exhaustive give a flavour of what is on offer in our school to support our colleagues.
