Core Subjects

These are the subjects that are compulsory at Vale of York in order to meet the Department for Education’s statutory requirements of the National Curriculum. All students will study the following Core subjects: Maths; English Language; English Literature; Science (either Combined Science or Separate Sciences); as well as non-examination statutory subjects: Core PE and World Views Modern Issues.
