Name: Joe Aldridge
Achievement: Masters in Railway Operations
Year of leaving school: 2012
I left Canon Lee in 2012 and went to study A Levels at York College. I then took a year off before going to university.
I went to study Transport and Logistics at Huddersfield University in 2015 and graduated with a First Class Honours Degree. Part of my degree included a 15 months placement. I worked for Govia Thameslink Railway at London Kings Cross station gaining experience of how a train operating company plans timetables along with crew and unit diagrams.
In September I will be starting a Masters degree in Railway Operations, Management and Policy at the University of Leeds.
