Since leaving Canon Lee in 2010 I have graduated at Leeds Beckett University with an honours degree in Human Geography and Planning. I now work for a civil engineering company in Leeds as a Health and Safety Coordinator. I carry out site audits – ensuring that each site is set up to client and industry standards, as well as managing and co-ordinating both in-house and external training.

Since starting my career, I have gained further qualifications including First Aid, Mental Health First Aid, IOSH Managing Safely and Site Management Safety Training Scheme. I am now fully qualified to manage and supervise a construction site.

I am also a “Construction Ambassador” and through this I have taken part in a few school career events with NYBEP (you have probably already heard or worked with them).
