When I left school in 2018, I went straight into work, the job I got was a mechanic at Kwikfit. I have just finished the first year of my apprenticeship and have got a pay rise which is good news to me. I have worked hard to get to where I am now in my job and I feel a lot better for changing my attitude and growing up a bit more. 

My advice for students now would be to just keep your heads down and get on with whatever work it is that your teachers have set you because you might think you won’t need any of it when you leave school, but trust me you do. 

Keep working hard and keep your heads down!
