We work on raising aspirations as well as looking at subject and career choices and also provide advice as to how to access certain career paths.
We work with both York and York St John Universities in the city and other regional universities on the provision of workshops, visits and talks.
There’s a whole host of information on the UCAS website from course information, finance information and how to apply to open day dates, preparing for your studies and wellbeing advice.
The video below from UCAS will give you a really great start in understanding what Higher Education is:
Online ‘Introduction to Higher Education’ project.
This online project involves interactive activities for Year 7 to Year 11 pupils to explore their aspirations and support their journey towards higher education. Every Tuesday, the webpage will be updated with new interactive and engaging content, each covering a different topic from ‘what is higher education study?’ through to ‘a day in the life of a university student’.
There are opportunities for pupils to complete tasks online, ask questions and win fantastic prizes such as Apple Airpods and Amazon Vouchers.
