Year of leaving school: 2003
My name is Danielle Davis (was Healey).
I left Canon Lee in 2003 having attended since 1998. I left there to go on to York College to do A-Levels in English, Music, Psychology and Drama thanks to my fantastic teachers at the school.
I then went on to do my BA degree at University of Kent in English Literature and Drama. After this I went on to complete my PGCE in English at Canterbury Christ Church University and went on to teach English in schools in Kent helping to run GCSE English in the department.
While teaching I also completed my Masters in Literacy and Learning at CCCU and was proud to achieve a distinction level for this.
Since leaving teaching four years ago due to starting a family, I am now a mum of two and working alongside my husband in his property development business in Kent.
