Post-16 education

Open evenings are held each year for prospective parents/carers and students to attend and view post-16 schools and colleges. Year 12 and 13 are sometimes referred to as ‘sixth form’.

Open evenings are generally held in November each year. Information can be found on the individual school websites below.  You can also find information on the City of York Council’s website
