Our year 10 and 11 basketball team only just lost 38-33 to Millthorpe. We were extremely impressed with the lads’ passion and drive throughout the full game!

Our KS3 Basketball team beat Fulford 10-5 last week followed by a very close game against Manor, just losing 9-6. Again the lads worked their socks off and cracking play was witnessed by all.

We have just had a delivery of our new Vale of York Rugby Kits, designed by Arun Haley, Alfie Jones, Maddison Faxon and Mia Edson. These four outstanding students designed the shirts back in September as part of a programme we are working on with the RFU.

Our year 8 girls lost by 4 runs in the North Yorkshire County cup but played so well to get themselves there!

Harvey Fisher continues to strive for Golds at local tournament and a large number of students are getting trials and securing places with local sports clubs.

On 26 February, seven hardworking and dedicated rugby players will be going to see the 6 nations rugby match of England V Italy.

We had a fantastic visit from the DBU Patriates dance troop from America to teach all our year 7 girls some top class dances.
