I was at Canon Lee and Mr Orr was my Head of Year – I left 2013.

I’ve gone on to graduate from the University of Salford with a First Class Degree in Biomedical Science and I am currently finishing up a Masters in children’s leukaemia research for a children’s cancer charity.

At the start of October I start my PhD at the University of Nottingham in Astromedicine and Astropharmacy where I will be researching and modifying medicines for the space flight to Mars. I will also be working in collaboration with the European Space Agency and NASA with the potential to send my research into space if it is any good to test it. Might also get a two week trip over to America to have a tour around NASA as well they said.
