I left Canon Lee in 2015 and was satisfied with my GCSE grades, I’d known for a while I wanted to do journalism once I left school but I needed two B’s to do A Levels but I only got one B, nonetheless I went on to do a creative media BTECH course instead at college which I loved every minute of! I achieved the equivalent grade of A*AA (D*DD), way above the grade requirement to get into the University!
I am now going into my final year next month at Leeds Beckett university studying journalism, and I work for YO1 radio as their local news reporter, still haven’t got used to hearing myself in the car!
